The Elizabeth Gedi Garwo Clinic is a nonprofit community health clinic located in Nimeah Beach,
Grand Kru County, Liberia, along the country’s
southeastern Atlantic coast.
The clinic provides essential healthcare, including
maternal and newborn services, wound repair, vaccination, and treatment of infectious diseases for residents of numerous surrounding rural communities. It also serves as a referral facility to the nearest hospitals in Pleebo and Harper.
With the nearest hospital over two hours’ travel, the clinic is a critical source of medical care for patients who would otherwise face limited access to healthcare.

Elizabeth Gedi Garwo - Clinic Founder; Born in Nimeah Beach Village, Elizabeth devoted her career to nursing and, in 2017, sacrificed her retirement savings to establish and single-handedly sustain the clinic, making its work possible through her unwavering commitment
